A small herd of horses decided to take to the streets and ended up blocking traffic on Highway 78 eastbound right near North DeKalb Mall.
Police had to round the 10 horses up. Traffic had slowed to a standstill while motorists stopped to watch all of the excitement.
Decatur's Little Creek Horse Farm, the place where all the horses escaped from, posted on Facebook that they were thankful to DeKalb police for helping keep people and horses safe.
A worker from the farm told FOX 5 that the chaos all happened after a gate was left open.
Little Creek Horse Farm says its taking steps to ensure this doesn't happen again.
