OAKLAND, Calif. - Dozens rang in the new season with KTVU on Saturday at Jack London Square Holiday Tree Lighting in Oakland.
Live music, a laser light show, and special guests including Santa and Frosty were a marvel to behold. KTVU's Andre Senior emceed the event and flipped the switch on the tree lights to usher in the holiday season.
The free and family-friendly event began at 5:45 p.m. near Plank and ends at 8 p.m.
Several local lawmakers were also in attendance.
