KTVU goes to Oakland's Fruitvale district for a Zip Trip

OAKLAND, Calif. - KTVU visits Oakland's Fruitvale district on Friday for a summer Zip Trip and viewers are invited to see how this area has grown, while keeping a tight-knit sense of community.

You'll hear from people who are making sure lower-income residents have access to healthcare service. 

And of course, we'll take you to some awesome places to eat, including where they make the best tacos and mole. 

We'll also hear from Oakland's own soccer teams and learn about how one organization is helping Black, Latin and indigenous students become the next generation of computer coders.
