KTVU is expanding its presence in the Bay Area with a new on-air and online destination: KTVU Plus launches Monday, April 25, 2016 when KICU TV 36 adopts a new name and look.
For the viewer at home, it will mean more of award-winning KTVU newscasts. And if, for whatever reason, programming is pre-empted on KTVU-TV (such as sports coverage) viewers will have one place to find the programming they are looking for by tuning to KTVU Plus.
The first big change viewers will notice is the expansion of the FOX 2 News at 7 to a full hour, starting Monday, April 25 on KTVU Plus.
will carry three hours of local news at 10 a.m., 7 p.m. and 11 p.m., giving viewers more options to find out what's happening in their community and the Bay Area.
