Lake Fire burns near former Michael Jackson Neverland Ranch at 13,000+ acres, 0% contained: report

The Lake fire in Santa Barbara County has exploded in size, growing to thousands of acres from Friday.

The fire is burning just north of Solvang near Zaca Lake in the Santa Ynez Valley. More than 13,200 acres have burned, and it remains at 0% containment.

Evacuation orders for Figueroa Mountain Road to the neighborhood within Sawmill Basin are in place. Those in these areas should leave immediately. 

According to the East Bay Times, the fire is now the second-biggest wildfire for the season. The western edge was within a mile of the former Michael Jackson Neverland Ranch.

It's unclear how the fire started, and the cause is under investigation.
