President Trump is visiting the Bay Area. Well, sort of.

A wax figure of the 45th president of the United States goes on the floor at the famed Madame Tussauds in San Francisco on Monday, and will be there through the end of the month.

According to the museum's marketing manager Jennifer Edwards, aside from the Kardashians, Trump is among the most sough-after figure that visitors want to take pictures with.

"A lot of visitors come from out of the country," she said on KTVU. "They want to take pictures with whoever the president is."

Trump is the only presidential wax figure who was created "in the past," Edwards said. In 1997,  Trump did a sitting for Tussauds artists. Then, when he became a presidential candidate, the artists "aged him forward," Edwards said.

As with most of the wax figures, Trump cost $300,000 to make. "A lot of artistry goes into each piece," Edwards said. "Each hair was individually inserted."

She said that guests are encouraged to take photos with him and the other wax statues on display.

As for the president getting vandalized on the Left Coast? Edwards isn't worried. There is security at the museum, and Trump has been on display in other parts of the country, she said, and nothing happened.
