'Major medical emergency' prompts closure at Hayward BART Station

HAYWARD, Calif. - A "major medical emergency" has occurred at the Hayward BART Station, prompting a closure, according to BART officials.

BART posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that a person in the trackway "may have come into contact with a train."

Bus service is available on Line 10 for passengers traveling from Bay Fair to Hayward and Line 99 for travelers heading from Hayward to South Hayward.
