Man, 19, killed in East Palo Alto, neighbors report hearing gunshots

EAST PALO ALTO, Calif. (KTVU) - A 19-year-old man was killed in East Palo Alto in a deadly shooting where neighbors reported hearing several gunshots.

Police said they responded to the gunshots at 12:29 a.m. Thursday in a cul-de-sac on the 1200 block of Beech Street.

First responders found the young man unconscious and not breathing. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, police said. 

Police put evidence markers out on the street, but have not revealed what lead up to the shooting.

There was no suspect information released.

This is the third homicide in East Palo Alto this year.
