Man found fatally shot in vacant Hayward building
HAYWARD (BCN) - A man was found fatally shot in Hayward on Monday afternoon, police said Tuesday.
Officers responded at about 4:30 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 22000 block of Maple Court and found the victim in a vacant building, according to police.
The man, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrest has been made in the homicide, Hayward's third of 2018, and no suspect information was available. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Detective Purnell at (510) 293-3352.
