Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash in Oakland

OAKLAND, Calif. - SkyFOX flew over a motorcycle crash in Oakland on Friday. 

The Oakland Fire Department confirmed the crash was located at West Grand Avenue and Poplar Street near the Mandela Parkway. 

KTVU learned of the crash just before 5 p.m.

The fire department said the motorcyclist was transported to a hospital and is in unknown condition. 

It is not clear if anyone else was injured by the collision. We do not know if any other vehicles were involved.
