Murder charge for woman who killed Army veteran

A 21-year-old woman is one of two people charged with murder in a shooting last week at an Oakland gas station where an innocent Army veteran was killed.

Alameda County prosecutors have charged two people with murdering a 64-year-old Army veteran during a shootout in an Oakland gas station last week. 

Stavon Moore, 28, and Tyja Braswell, 21, were both charged with murdering 64-year-old Rodney Davis at a gas station near 102nd Avenue and International Boulevard on March 19. 

A third defendant, Tamia Foster, is charged with assault for allegedly handing a gun to Moore, according to the Bay Area News Group. .

The news organization reports that Braswell and Moore face another serious charge: Attempting to murder each other. Police alleged they exchanged gunfire after Foster and Moore got into a fight with Braswell inside the gas station.

Davis, an innocent bystander, was described by his sister as a US Army veteran, who was visiting his girlfriend in Oakland.
