San Francisco police, including SWAT officers, swooped into Cole Valley on Monday morning in an action that shut down Muni's N-Judah line in both directions for several hours.

A man had barricaded himself inside a home at Carl and Stanyan streets over a domestic dispute, police said.

The surrounding streets were closed off and the N-Judah line was shut down during the police activity. Bus bridges were being set up to help with the morning commute.

By 8 a.m., the man was taken into custody and Muni lines were restored.
