Nightly lane closures on Golden Gate bridge begins Monday night

Some lanes of the Golden Gate toll plaza will be closed for roadwork and repaving the week of Aug. 14 during nighttime hours and drivers should expect overnight delays.

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - Some lanes of the Golden Gate toll plaza will be closed for roadwork and repaving this week during nighttime hours and drivers should expect overnight delays. 

The lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Monday night and will continue each night until Thursday. 

Lanes in both directions will remain open, but drivers should expect back-ups.
