Apartment rents drop in Oakland.

OAKLAND, Calif. - Oakland is experiencing the biggest drop in rent among the country's 100 largest cities.

Data from Apartment List said the median price for a one-bedroom apartment was about $1, 430 last month.

That's a drop of 7.2% from the year before,

Apartment List said the lower rent is the result of people having left urban cores at the beginning of the pandemic in search of more affordable or more spacious housing.
