Oakland firefighters create safety zone for baby humpback whale

OAKLAND, Calif. - A baby humpback whale was spotted swimming in open waters on Sunday in the Oakland estuary.

Firefighters protected the baby whale, creating a safety zone around it, and stayed with the young whale until it safely swam back out into the bay.
