One injured in house fire in San Jose

Fire crews responded to a first-alarm fire that sparked at a single-family home in San Jose on Friday, the San Jose Fire Department said. 

The fire was reported on the 3000 block of Peppermint Drive near Lake Cunningham just after 4 p.m. 

One person was reportedly injured in the blaze, according to SJFD. Community members are asked to avoid the area, and traffic is currently being impacted by the response to the fire.
