One victim rescued from water, search underway for 2nd near Deer Valley Rd. Antioch

First responders have rescued someone from the water and have concluded their search for a second victim Friday afternoon in Antioch

Contra Costa County Fire Protection District first tweeted about the incident at Deer Valley Road and Carpinteria just after 3 p.m. 

One victim was treated at the scene and released at the scene. Officials used a rescue boat and sheriff's office helicopter to search for a second victim. The search has extended to the west.  

The rescue operation concluded at around 4:30 p.m. Fire officials said in a tweet: "No second victim has been located."

Additional assistance in the search and rescue was provided by Antioch Police Department, and Contra Costa County Sheriff's Department.
