Overpaid a parking ticket in SF? Reclaim your money
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency posted a list of people who have overpaid for tickets. If you overpaid, you can file a claim to get your cash back.
The data contains people who overpaid tickets between January 1, 1995 and June 30, 2012.
The SFMTA has approximately $6.1 million in unclaimed funds for overpayment and duplicate payments during that time period.
If you were overcharged you can file a claim by March 3, 2016.
Unclaimed overpayments will become property of the City and County of San Francisco.
