Pedestrian killed in San Francisco hit-and-run crash

SAN FRANCISCO - A pedestrian was killed Saturday afternoon when a car struck them before they fled, police said. 

Police responded to the area of Silver Avenue and Colby Street for a hit-and-run report involving a pedestrian around 5:35 p.m.

The pedestrian died at the scene. 

Police did not provide details or a description of the suspect's car. The pedestrian was not named.
