Person missing for 5 days rescued at Daly City beach

A person who had been missing for five days was found and rescued on a beach in Daly City.

The North County Fire Authority said that the unidentified person was taken to a hospital for treatment after being found at Thornton State Beach.

The fire department also thanked hikers who had spotted the person on a trail.

No other information was available about the missing person.
