PHOTOS: North Bay students donate hair to kids with cancer
WINDSOR, Calif. - Students at Mattie Washburn Elementary School in Windsor got a lesson in giving on Thursday.
The students and teachers cut their hair off to donate to Wigs for Kids, an organization that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair to cancer and other illnesses.
The kids cut their hair in the school gym in front of a crowd of cheering classmates.
