Police give all-clear after shelter in place near Alameda High School

ALAMEDA, Calif. (KTVU) - A shelter in place was issued for the area surrounding Alameda High School on Monday, authorities said.

Police were searching for people in the area of Central Avenue, not far from the school, for reasons unknown at this time. 

The scene was cleared around 3:06 p.m. and officers haven't said what incident occurred that led to the search.
