Police investigate burglary at Rio Vista business

A Rio Vista lingerie store that was recently vandalized was burglarized late Friday night and police are now asking for the public's help to find the suspect.

Around 10:53 p.m. a suspect burglarized the Galleria Bra Room at 26 N. Second St., according to police.

After reviewing surveillance video, officers determined the suspect threw a rock through the front glass door, completely shattering the glass.

The suspect then entered the store and took a garment was on display in the front window, before fleeing the area on foot, police said.

The suspect was described as a white man, between 25 and 35 years old, between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall.

He wore blue jeans, a thick brown jacket and a dark colored baseball cap, according to police.

Officers are following leads in an effort to identify the suspect.

This is the second recent incident involving the business.

Last month, a suspect allegedly drilled holes into the building's side window panel in order to try to gain entry into the store. The suspect, however, was unsuccessful, police said.
