Police searching for Campbell bank robbery suspect
CAMPBELL, Calif. (KTVU) - Police in Campbell are looking for a robbery suspect who they say threatened a Chase Bank teller by saying he had a gun on Friday.
Surveillance video shows the suspect, described as a Hispanic male, approximately 30-35 years old, 5’7”- 5’10”, a medium build and clean shaven.
The robbery happened at about 11:40 a.m. at the bank’s branch at 1605 S. Winchester Blvd.
According to police, no weapon was ever seen, but the teller complied by handing over money anyhow.
The suspect proceeded to exit the east doors of the bank and was last seen walking southbound on Winchester Blvd. He was wearing a black hoodie with a maroon shirt and a backwards black baseball cap with a light-colored brim.
Police are asking the public’s help in finding the suspect.
