Power out in southwest Santa Rosa due to underground vault rupture

SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KTVU) - An underground vault rupture in Santa Rosa on Tuesday knocked power out in the city.

The Santa Rosa Police Department said several stoplights stopped working including in the area of Fulton and Highway 12, Highway 12 and Occidental Road, Wes Third and Fulton Road. 

Pacific Gas and Electric crews were dispatched to the area to repair the vault.
