Richmond shooting leaves 1 dead

RICHMOND, Calif. - A person was shot and killed in Richmond Wednesday morning and the suspect remains at large, authorities said.

The shooting happened around 11:30 a.m. at Lancaster Drive and Aberdeen Way, near San Pablo Avenue, according to Richmond police.

Only was person was fatally struck by gunfire, police said.

The suspect is still outstanding.

Authorities wouldn't provide any additional details.
