A robot is hard at work cleaning up beaches along the shores of Lake Tahoe.
LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - A robot is hard at work cleaning up beaches along the shores of Lake Tahoe.
The computerized custodian moves at about two miles an hour, and is roughly the size of a riding lawn mower.
The remote-controlled, solar-powered robot goes through the sand and water, collecting trash at Kings Beach, Zephyr Cove and other Tahoe beaches.
