S.F. supervisors proposing new fire safety rules for building owners
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KTVU/BCN) - Two San Francisco Supervisors will propose new fire safety rules for building owners Tuesday.
Supervisors David Campos and Jane Kim will hold a press conference in front of a building at the corner of 22nd and Mission streets to discuss fire prevention and tenant protection measures.
The press conference comes after a fire Monday night in the 2500 block of Mission Street at 22nd Street.
The structure has been deteriorating since a fatal four-alarm fire in January 2015.
The fire was under control by 8:58 p.m., according to dispatchers.
No injuries were reported and no residents were displaced.
