SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) - San Francisco police today are investigating a threat called in overnight against officers.
A suspect called the Ingleside Police Station, located just off Balboa Park at San Jose Avenue, as well as police dispatch and said he would offer a $15,000 reward for anyone who kills a San Francisco police officer, according to police.
No arrest has been made in the case and no information about the suspect was immediately available.
The threat comes days after another case in which 60-year-old Donald Eric Hoganson was arrested for allegedly making criminal threats against Acting Chief Toney Chaplin over social media.
Investigators discovered the alleged threats on Saturday and arrested Hoganson on Monday in the 2500 block of Ortega Street in the city's Sunset District.
SFPD say this case is not unusual, and they receive threats periodically. They report and track the incidents.
