San Francisco's Arab Film Festival is postponed because of war
SAN FRANCISCO - San Francisco's Arab Film and Media Institute is postponing its festival this year because of the Israel-Hamas war.
The 27th annual Arab Film Festival was scheduled to open Nov. 10 at the Castro Theatre.
But organizers announced on social media that the event will not go on as planned.
They wrote that the festival has always been a celebration of Arab cinema, but right now, this does not feel like a moment of celebration.
