Police in San Jose have arrested a man in connection with several sexual assault incidents that occurred earlier this week.

Icie Flores, 29, of San Jose, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of assault with intent to commit rape, two counts of sexual battery and a count of annoying or molesting a child, according to the San Jose Police Department.

Police said Flores tried to sexually assault a 17-year-old girl on Sunday at the Eastridge Mall at 2200 Eastridge Loop in San Jose.

After the initial incident, he attempted another sexual battery on a woman about 10 minutes later, police said.

On Monday around 10:07 a.m., Flores sexually battered a woman at the VTA Light Rail Station at 97 East Tasman Drive, police said.

Following the assault, Flores fled the area before Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office deputies arrived at the scene.

Later that day, Flores again tried to assault a woman in the 5000 block of North First Street and then sexually battered a woman inside a business in the 600 block of Main Street in Milpitas.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about these cases or other cases involving Flores to contact the San Jose Police Department at (408) 277-4102
