San Jose police investigate family disturbance
SAN JOSE, Calif. - A family disturbance in San Jose triggered a police response Tuesday morning, police said.
Officers responded around 9:35 a.m. to the 5600 block of Chesbro Avenue where a man allegedly assaulted a relative and fled, according to the San Jose Police Department.
A KTVU reporter heard police ordering the man to surrender.
The department tweeted that officers were "clearing the surrounding neighborhood and making announcements out of precaution."
