San Leandro has new interim police chief, Susan Manheimer
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. - The San Leandro Police Department has a new interim chief, and it's a familiar face in local law enforcement.
Susan Manheimer most recently served as the interim chief of the Oakland Police Department.
Before that, she spent 22 years as the permanent chief in San Mateo.
She'll now lead San Leandro police, while the city searches for a permanent chief, after the retirement of Jeff Tudor.
