San Leandro man dies in East Oakland shooting
OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - OAKLAND (BCN) A San Leandro man has died following a shooting early Thursday evening in East Oakland that injured three others, police said.
At about 5:02 p.m., officers responded to the 9700 block of Edes Avenue near Nevada Street after someone reported a shooting.
Police said officers found two men and two women with gunshot wounds.
Medics also responded. The San Leandro man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said the other three victims were taken to a hospital in stable condition. The man who died will be identified once his family is told.
A homicide investigation has begun and police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call the Police Department homicide section at (510) 238-3821.
