Second San Leandro Gamestop rammed with car, burglarized
SAN LEANDRO, Calif. - Police in San Leandro said thieves rammed a vehicle into another Gamestop store Friday, following a similar crime on Christmas Eve at a different Gamestop just three miles away.
Police say a stolen white Infiniti was used to ram through the front of the Gamestop on East 14th Street around 6 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene, the suspects had already taken off in a separate vehicle, leaving the white sedan behind, police said.
Police said this is an active investigation.
On Christmas Eve, San Leandro police chased down two suspects who rammed into the Gamestop at Fashion Faire Place.
One person was arrested during Tuesday's incident. Police said they are looking for a second suspect.
