OAKLAND, Calif. (BCN) - Several groups are urged to be aware of their breathing today as the air quality in San Francisco is slightly compromised because of smoke from nearby wildfires, emergency officials said.
People with lung and/or heart disease, older adults and children are urged to take it easier if they are short of breath or start to cough.
Emergency officials encourage those same groups to consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion today.
The air in San Francisco is smoky because of wildfires in Lake and Yolo counties.
