SF district attorney investigates controversial sign-in sheet
SAN FRANCISCO - The San Francisco District Attorney's Office is investigating a handwritten sign-in sheet for witnesses that's ignited a courthouse controversy.
The sheet allegedly circulated at the Hall of Justice, on Bryant Street, during yesterday's morning court session.
It was meant to keep track of witnesses testifying in criminal cases.
But someone reportedly wrote the words "Bad Guy" in the column where witnesses were supposed to indicate who they were testifying against.
The Chronicle quotes public defender Jeff Adachi, who says an intern in the DA's office may be responsible.
