SF Public Library card holders can now access free film streaming service

SAN FRANCISCO (BCN) San Francisco residents will now have free access to the streaming movie service Kanopy with their library cards, library officials announced Monday.

Kanopy has more than 30,000 titles, with an emphasis on award-winning documentaries and feature films, rare and hard-to-find titles and classic films.

Library patrons will be able to access the service on devices and systems including Roku, iOS and Android, and can also use it with accommodations and devices for the hearing and visually impaired.
