SFPD 'bait car' lands two arrests, assault pistol

SAN FRANCISCO - A San Francisco police bait car was used to arrested two individuals on Friday, the department announced.

Police also recovered an illegal assault pistol. SFPD did not say what the charges are for the individuals arrested. 

"Criminals beware: our officers are out there, and we will arrest you," SFPD posted on X, formerly Twitter.

SFPD started its bait car program a month ago.
