SFPD: Man accused of sexually assaulting elderly victim arrested
SAN FRANCISCO (KTVU) - San Francisco police say their Tenderloin units have located and arrested a sexual assault suspect.
Officer Grace Gatpandan said the man, accused of sexually assaulting a woman in her 90s in Chinatown on New Year's Eve afternoon, was taken into custody around 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
The assault occurred at approximately 12:36 p.m. Monday on the 800 block of Pacific Avenue near Stockton Street.
The suspect is described as 35 to 40 years old, 5'11" to 6-feet tall and about 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a light grey hooded sweatshirt with a blue vest, black and white striped pants and black and white golf shoes.
