Sgt. Scott Lunger's family photos
HAYWARD, Calif. (KTVU) -- We are learning more about Sergeant Scott Lunger, the Hayward police officer who was killed in the line of duty on Wednesday.
48-year-old Scott Lunger was a 15-year veteran of the Hayward Police Department.
He had two daughters, Ashton, 21 and Sara, 19.
Lunger had 2 older brothers, Mike and Todd and a younger sister, Shelly.
He was devoted to his family and a huge Oakland A's fan.
