CONCORD, Calif. (KTVU/BCN) - Police are investigating a shooting that happened just outside of the Concord Police Department Saturday night, which left the building with some minor damage, police said.
Around 11:15 p.m., the police's dispatch center received multiple calls reporting gunshots heard near the police department at 1350 Galindo St., according to police.
When officers responded, they found bullet marks near the front of the building.
Officers then closed Galindo Street in both directions as they investigated the scene, police said.
There were people inside the building at the time, but no injuries were reported.
Concord police have not received any threats to their department or any of their officers, according to the department.
Police don't think the shots were fired by someone who is angry with the police department.
No suspect information was immediately available.
Police plan to review security cameras from traffic lights and nearby businesses in the area.
