OAKLAND, Calif. - Children at an Oakland hospital celebrated National Super Hero Day on Thursday.
A hat company called "Love Your Melon" sent ambassadors to the Kaiser Permanente Hospital on Broadway.
They were all dressed up in full superhero gear. and brought costumes for the young patients.
The kids were also given free "Love Your Melon" hats.
One nurse says they event gives kids a chance to forget their troubles.
One child wearing a cape whispered, "I wish I could fly right out of here."
