OAKLAND, Calif. - An at-risk woman who was reported missing out of Oakland Tuesday has been safely located, authorities said.
Oakland police said around 6:15 p.m. that 63-year-old Cheryl Lane is no longer considered missing. Authorities did not disclose where the woman was located or her whereabouts.
Earlier the California Highway Patrol activated a Silver Alert for the woman after she reportedly went missing around 1:17 p.m. She had last been seen in the area of 13th Avenue at E 34th Street.
The alert was in effect for Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin and Sonoma counties.
