Newark police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store.
NEWARK, Calif. - Newark police are investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at a jewelry store.
Police said the robbery was reported at about 1 p.m. Thursday at Bhindi Jewelers.
A large group of armed men smashed the jewelry cases and got away with merchandise.
Police say several cars with getaway drivers were ready to get the robbers away from the scene at NewPark Mall.
