The backstory:
The Snack Wrap – a warm tortilla filled with chicken, lettuce, cheese and sauce – first arrived at McDonald’s in 2006 and quickly became popular. The chain later offered a beef version as well.
The beef version was removed in 2013, and both were mostly gone by 2016 because franchises complained that they took too long to make. They were completely stripped from all U.S. menus in 2020.
What they're saying:
In late 2024, McDonald’s U.S. President Joe Erlinger confirmed the menu item’s return in 2025, citing its "cult following."
"The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025. This has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product. It will be back in 2025," Erlinger told "Good Morning America" in December.
