Noah Pimentel, a suspect named in a kidnapping out of San Jose
SAN JOSE, Calif. - A teen who had been kidnapped out of San Jose late Friday night was located, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The kidnapping occurred Friday night around 10:40 p.m. in the 1800 block of Lexington Drive near Payne Avenue, according to the San Jose Police Department and CHP.
Officials didn't say where the 17-year-old victim was found, but as of 6:25 p.m. Saturday, they deactivated the Amber Alert.
San Jose police said the adult male suspect, identified as 25-year-old Noah Pimentel, had gone to the 17-year-old victim's home and forced her into his car against her will.
The victim's father and an adult woman tried to remove the victim from the car but were unsuccessful. Police said Pimentel reversed his car and struck the adult female before driving off with the teen girl inside.
The suspect, Pimentel, stands around 5 feet 9 inches and weighs around 155 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a white shirt.
