Police have two suspects in custody following two robberies outside of Stoneridge Mall that occurred over the weekend.

They are still looking for a third suspect.

Pleasanton police say good video evidence led to the arrests of two 17-year-old boys.

There is still a third robbery suspect they're still looking for.

The first robbery happened in the parking lot at Stoneridge Mall on Saturday evening.

A 17-year-old girl was punched, her purse was stolen, and one of the robbers flashed a gun or rifle.

Robbers used a Honda Pilot to get away.

Cameras in the mall parking lot captured video of the Honda Pilot.

That same vehicle was later used in a car-jacking at the San Leandro Bayfair BART station.

The vehicle stolen in that car-jacking was a Mercedes SUV, which is the vehicle used in a second robbery at Stoneridge Mall on Sunday around 1:30 p.m.

A 63-year-old woman was kicked on the ground, and also had her purse stolen.

Pleasanton police say they are currently working with BART and Oakland police to figure out what other robberies these young men are connected to.

After the second robbery at Stoneridge Mall on Sunday, the robbers continued to drive around in the stolen SUV in Oakland.

Oakland police picked up the license plate, realized it was stolen, and pulled the teens over.

Police linked them to the crimes at Stoneridge Mall and the teens were taken into custody.
