Thousands join car protest in Oakland

At least 4,000 cars took part in a peaceful procession of drivers from Oakland to San Francisco in another display of opposition to the killing of George Floyd.

OAKLAND, Calif. - At least 4,000 cars took part in a procession from Oakland to San Francisco on Sunday, officials said.

The drivers were part of a peaceful protest that organizers said was designed to express opposition to the killing of George Floyd and other victims of police violence.

The motorists gathered around the Port of Oakland and formed a caravan that trekked across the Bay Bridge.
