Two killed in fiery RV explosion at Dixon May Fairgrounds
DIXON, Calif. (KTVU) - Two people died Tuesday morning and two others were injured in an explosion and fire in an RV at the Dixon May Fairgrounds in Solano County, police told Sacramento station, KCRA.
The Dixon Fire Department tweeted they were responding to a fire at 4:39 a.m. at 655 South 1st Street in Dixon.
Video at the scene showed firefighters working to put out flames and smoke that had consumed a big silver-and-red vehicle.
How the fire started is unclear.
Dixon is 23 miles from Sacramento with a population of about 18,000 people.
